There are two teams that must defend or attack a bombsite. To win a round, a team can win by fragging all of the opposition, defusing the bomb, or ensuring it explodes.

Bomb and Defuse is a unique team-based game type. Team Forbidden is the attacking team - their objective is to plant the bomb and protect it until it explodes or eliminate the enemy team. The objective of team ICY is to protect bombsites, defuse the bomb (if planted) or eliminate the enemy team. Points are given for completing the objectives. Players get to choose which weapons they spawn with. At the beginning of the round, one of the players in team Forbidden is randomly chosen as a bomb carrier.
